ToE has been shamefully neglecting Amy Winehouse recently and has been getting complaints accordingly. Quite right too.
Last year Scouse band The Zutons came out with the storming stonker of a single Valerie.
Here's Amy doing a rather nice soft Mediterraneany holidayish cover of the kind Duck might enjoy.
But more excitingly, here she is belting it out while drunk...

Yes, it's a nice song. Good notes. She did manage to remain standing.
Brit, you have to admit that the big hair, the tattoos, the Vulcan eye makeup make her one scary looking lady.
Finally, indisputable proof that the words are completely irrelevant to enjoying a song. (Well, since Louie, Louie, at least.)
I LOVE THAT VIDEO !!!
But you'd have to be in the right mellow mood to get into its groove...
It's not a "play everyday".
The lyrics are terrible even when the bloke from The Zutons sings them, but it's still a great song.
Amy is one of those rare performers who sounds better live than on record. The startling thing is the contrast between her barely audible babblings between songs, and the awesome paint-stripping power when she starts singing.
Will it strip wallpaper? I could use that on my fixup project. Can you burn a CD for me?

Are you sure it's not just a dull song which Amy managed to make sound interesting?
No, it definitely rocks. It rocks like a bastard.
But it does have the lines: "Are you shopping anywhere?/Changed the colour of your hair?". Not exactly Morrissey.
