The Alliance is coming!

It's official, the Post-Judd Alliance has found a new victim. Locust-like, it swarms all over Bryan Appleyard's blog, leaving nothing but destruction and discombobulated leftists in its wake.

I'm proud of you, boys. Darn proud.

Yes, well we all know how Americans just love to conquer and liberate. I believe the correct phrase is a gaggle of trolls.

It's funny, though, how a new victim/audience can energize. I can't decide whether it is because, amongst ourselves, I am sick of my own voice or simply despair at the sad realization that the rest of you are terminally thick.

Must be polite, though, and not overstay our welcome. I know, let's give Bryan a break and swarm monix instead.

It makes for a nice change from the billionth evolution\religion debates we tend to get into.

Wish AOG, Harry and Skipper and Mike Beversluis would show up there regularly too.

Hmm, yes, so long as we don't lump poor Bryan with 100-comment threads on the origins of morality.

Gee, Brit, don't you think Bryan and his pals would benefit from a lengthy course on first order evidence and the popular theology of East Tennessee?

I'll need to add Bryan to the friends of the Daily Duck roll. We're like the Borg - resistance is futile.

Peter, I can no longer send e-mails to your burnetlaw address, they come back undeliverable. I'm trying to finalize arrangements for my road trip next month. Can you send me an alternate email address?

If you sent it yesterday, yes, I am having trouble at the office. Try the same first part -at- aserty.com

I think that it's a bit of both. It's the reason that people cheat on their spouses with people who aren't noticeably more [attractive, vivacious, intelligent, charismatic, what-have-you] - it's often enough that they're "Other".

Appleyard's audience hasn't read my shtick a thousand times before.

Ali - I'm a lurker.

Also, I tend to read blogs without always commenting.

I would, but I'm on the road and my laptop stroked-out last week.

It appears, from an op-ed piece by the deputy commander in the Lynch episode, that the false version was hyped, concocted and driven by powerful people in West Virginia (her home state).

I am not certain, but I believe my employers were complicit in this.

Bein' a hero ain't as glamorous as it used to be.
