Yesterday I posted on the Dabblerish elements of the band The Libertines. Up the Bracket is one of my favourite albums and though their second one was patchy to say the least it did contain some excellent tunes, including 'Can't Stand Me Now' - an unusual song in that it is a bromantic duet. I can't think of many others... perhaps the Oasis track 'Acquiesce'?

Excellent - and terrific pre-song chat there from Rog.
I nominate Randy Newman's You've Got A Friend In Me. Watching a Toy Story film with a friend of the male variety was quite a bromantic experience.
Of course Ringo, with a little help fom his friends, got there first. (Geddit!)

Not that they are bromantic duets, strictly speaking, but I suspect You've Got A Friend would make an entertaining one, at the karaoke maybe.
Oh a karaoke duet of You've got a friend in me would be high bromance indeed.
'(He ain't heavy) He's My Brother' also fits that bill. Martpol and I howled that movingly at his wedding bash, I seem to recall.
The He Ain't Heavy rendition sounds terrific! A duet has ocurred to me- I can't think of many more bromantic openenings than 'Well, you're my friend and can you see, many times we've been out drinking, many times we've shared our thoughts' even if Johnny Cash and Will Oldham do make something of an odd couple. Probably wouldn't go down too well at the karaoke either.
