A short poem

This, in the words of Janis Joplin, is a poem of great social and political import.

Croyde Bay
by Brit

I carried my daughter down to the sea.
The sea was cold
and great
and old.

Actually, 'Lure the Sea' would have been a good title.

I can see the political implications, "poet throws sprog at seals in protest against Greek bailout"
Can't see the social connection, is it really your birthing date tomorrow, if so many of 'em.

Thanks Malty, it was tomorrow.
