It's been so long since I posted I've almost forgotten how.
Anyway, I'm making a slight return to blogging, in case anybody still cares.
Bryan Appleyard has very kindly asked me to babysit Thought Experiments for him, so I'll be there for a few weeks.

Good for you. I shall track you faithfully and may comment occasionally. I promise to be good.
Since the Alliance ran out of steam, I've been participating in a few Canadian blogs, left and right, on the election and a few other hot button issues. You know what? We really are kind of boring!
Canada's having an election?
Indeed we did, and we may have single-handedly saved international conservatism. You would have been amused. We like to act just as hostile, partisan and dramatic as our friends below, but we are handcuffed by that famous niceness. Our notion of underhanded, below-the-belt political rhetoric seems to run to accusing the other side's leader of a lack of empathy or poor second language skills.
It is good to see you back. I am enjoying the posts on Thought Experiments.
Peter - I travelled from London to Devon in a railway carriage full of young Canadians a few days ago. They were very NICE and it was a real pleasure to be in their company.
