That crazy old Loch Ness Monster

Nessie is a better-known Scot than Robert Burns or Sean Connery, according to a survey.

More than 2,000 adults across the UK were asked to say who they believed to be Scotland's most famous figure.

Poet Burns came second place in the poll, actor Connery was third and Robert the Bruce was fourth.

As Rabbie Burns would have said:

Ach nae, tha daft wee Loch Nessie Moanster
I will nae gan ee no Tree Fitty….

  1. And thus, this is why no-one has ever found the Loch Ness Monster in its home Loch.

Type in "Monty Python Scottish Poet Sketch" in the Youtube search box. Apparently my cut and paste keys are not working properly.
